Nippon Hotel - Istanbul

Problems with room cleaning

Location.

The room that I was staying at was described as "spacious". It was not spacious at all. It is hardly enough for one person... We were two people. Another thing is that I woudn't charachterize this hotel as a 4-star hotel. It is good 3-star hotel.

The hotel staff were friendly and always spoke to you when they saw in in corridor, lift, and so on. The reception desk was efficient. A newspaper was delivered for first two days but not for rest of the week. The hotel in conveniently placed for sightseeing and for airport bus but can be a little noisy - a higher floor probably better.

Do recommend for a date night

Comfortable room, friendly staff, the hotel is conveniently located near Taksim station , made exploring the city very easy.

Some rooms are just very small, a bit noisy if the next door room is loud. Staff needed to speak better English in order to communicate well with guests.

We spent 4 nights in a Deluxe Family Room and loved the cozy vibe, especially enjoying our breakfast with fresh Turkish pastries every morning. The hotel had a great pool and a lovely balcony area to unwind in the evenings. The only hiccup was that sometimes it was hard to find staff in the restaurant, but room service was always quick to help out. 😊

clean good staff near Taksim

The Nippon Hotel is very well located, close to Taksim but far enough to avoid any noise disturbance. The staff was very helpful and did satisfy all my requests. The design of the rooms is modern and rather comfortable. Breakfast was generally good.

No view at all from the 2 windows (corner room).

The location was great!

Because I have allergies the carpet in our room needed to be cleaned as it was very dirty. Also the curtains, tables, headboard and borders in the room were extremely dusty and needed a good vaccum cleaning or dusting.
